“Protocol” may be accessed via forward side boarding gates port and starboard, which open to the amidship foyers on either side, or aft from the cockpit or swim platform. The aft cockpit features a transom door to the swim platform, a water tight utility and engine room access door. The cockpit features capstans for docking, large cleats with through-transom hawsers. There are staircases outboard on both sides which lead to the aft deck.
The large aft deck is one of this yacht’s best features. There is a bar with refrigerator and sink forward to port, a large table with seating for 8, a wide transom seat, and a stainless spiral staircase leading to the upper boat deck and flybridge.
The salon is accessed through a stainless framed slider door. The aft portion of Salon starboard is a walk behind bar with a Corian top which matches the salon buffets. She is tastefully done with Natural Ash woodwork throughout in her panels, doors, crowns and accent moldings.
Moving forward from the salon through is a day head to starboard and access to the pilothouse and galley. All the way forward is a large "country kitchen" style galley that offers a large working area for meal preparation. The refrigerator is a large recessed double door, the cook top is a five burner surface mount, the oven is mounted under the cook top, and there is also a microwave, trash compactor, dual well stainless sink with garbage disposal, and dishwasher. There is plenty of room for cookware storage, and the counter top spaces are all Corian surfaced with a vast amount of preparation, serving, and bar top area. Forward of galley is the large dinette with Corian countertop. The settee upholstery has been updated along with the two galley bar chairs which slide over to the dinette to offer additional seating. The galley also offers a forward TV in the dinette area.
The accommodations on "PROTOCOL" offer the best layout featured on any yacht its size. The full beam master stateroom king is Amidship and full-beam his and hers head. The master stateroom offers a California king size bed. Just aft of the master stateroom are the 2nd & 3rd guest staterooms, one queen and the other twins both with ensuite heads are just aft for the master stateroom separated by a large foyer.
The crew quarters are accessed from a separate staircase just forward and to starboard of the galley. There is a shared crew head with shower to starboard at the base of the staircase.
The captain’s quarters has a double berth with night stand, hanging and drawer storage, as well as a Panasonic hybrid phone with access to other staterooms, pilothouse, etc...
The separate crew stateroom is located forward in the Vee of the yacht. This stateroom shares the head with the captain quarters, the captain’s quarters has its own head. There is a V-berth, and separate drawer and hanging storage.
“PROTOCOL” is a one-owner yacht, purchased in 1998 new from Resort Ships who built the vessel.
